Krabi 4N5D

Four nights in Ao Nang with the islands, the jungle and the elephants already booked. Five hotels to choose between, and the fare drops as the party grows.

Four nights in Ao Nang, and the three days that make Krabi worth four of them. The islands by speedboat rather than longtail, so you are on Poda before the fleet arrives. A day inland at the hot springs, the Emerald Pool and Tiger Cave Temple — the half of Krabi most people fly home without seeing. And a morning with elephants that are fed and washed rather than ridden.

Where you stay

Five hotels, all on bed and breakfast, all four nights in one place — no mid-trip move. Every one of them sits in the Ao Nang pick-up zone, so the remote-zone transfer surcharge the operator lists for Krabi Town, Klong Muang and Tub Kaek does not apply here. Pick one on the booking form and the price follows.

Grade Hotel From, per person
3 Star Garden View Sunda Resort ₹25,231.00
3 Star Superior Glow Ao Nang ₹26,295.00
4 Star Superior Garden Centara Life Phu Pano Resort ₹25,963.00
4 Star Superior No View Ananta Burin Resort ₹27,293.00

  • Airport to hotel and hotel to airport, both on a private vehicle

What it does not

  • Flights
  • Visa
  • National park fee on the island day — 200 baht an adult, 100 a child, cash to the rangers
  • Entrance fees on the jungle day — hot springs 160 / 80 baht, Emerald Pool 400 / 200 baht, cash at each counter
  • Lunch on the elephant day, which runs to snacks and fruit only
  • Dinner throughout, and drinks beyond what is served on the tours
  • Tips, personal purchases and anything not written above

How the price works

Per person on twin sharing, before GST and TCS. The rate steps down as the party grows — separate fares at two, four, six, eight and ten — and the booking form applies whichever band you fall into. Two is the minimum.

Book and travel before 29 September 2026. Rooms and seats are held on request until the supplier confirms.

Allow roughly 760 baht a head on top of the fare for the park and entrance fees above. They are collected on site by the parks themselves, in cash, and no operator can prepay them.

Boat days run to the sea and the tide rather than to a timetable. The sandbar walk between Tup and Mor only appears at low water; the boat visits the islands either way.

The days

Meals included: 4 breakfasts, 2 lunches

  1. Arrive, and nothing else

Krabi airport to Ao Nang is thirty to forty minutes in a private car. Your name card is at Gate 15, inside the terminal — if it is not there, check the area immediately outside the gate. Point it out and the driver checks you in.

Nothing is booked for the rest of the day, and that is deliberate. The beach is a short walk, the sunset off Ao Nang does not need an itinerary, and the next three days all start early.

  2. Four islands, by speedboat

Chicken Island, Tup, Mor and Poda, finishing at Phra Nang Cave Beach. The speedboat is the point — it puts you on each island ahead of the longtail fleet and turns a full day at sea into five or six hours. On a low tide the sandbar between Tup and Mor comes up and you walk between two islands on the seabed; the boat goes either way, but that walk belongs to the tide rather than to the itinerary.

Thai buffet lunch on the sand at Poda. Snorkelling gear, guide and marine crew included, fruit and cold drinks on board. Pick-up between 08:00 and 08:30, so be in the lobby fifteen minutes before that.

The national park fee is not in the fare and never is — 200 baht an adult, 100 a child, cash to the rangers on the day.

  3. Inland — the springs, the pool, the steps

The hot springs first, where the water comes out of the rock into stone basins you can sit in. Then the Emerald Pool, reached on a forest trail through the Khao Phra Bang Khram reserve — a teal freshwater pool you swim in, with no sunscreen or soap before you go under, which the rangers do enforce. Thai set lunch near the reserve.

Tiger Cave Temple last. The summit is 1,260 steps and takes thirty to forty-five minutes if you have the legs for it; the grounds below are worth the stop either way. Shoulders and knees covered — it is a working monastery — and keep hold of your water bottle, because the monkeys will not.

Entrance fees are paid in cash at each counter: 160 baht adult and 80 child at the hot springs, 400 and 200 at the Emerald Pool.

  4. Feed them, wash them

Half a day at a sanctuary that offers no riding, no chains and no performances. The rescue histories first, then you prepare the feed and hand over sugarcane and bananas yourself, then into the mud and the river to scrub them down.

Three to four hours plus the drive, on a morning or an afternoon shift. Bring dry clothes, a towel and shoes you do not mind ruining. Snacks, fruit and drinks are laid on, but this programme does not run to lunch — eat either side of it.

  5. Breakfast, then out

Breakfast, then a private car to Krabi airport. Lobby ten minutes before the pick-up, and it runs straight there with no stops on the way.
