Long Weekend — 3N/4D in Krabi, built around the water rather than a coach route.

Where you sleep is chosen at booking — three-star, four-star or five-star, all of them close to Ao Nang beach and a short walk from the longtail pier. The itinerary, the transfers and the boat days do not change with it.

The fare is per person on twin sharing, before GST and TCS, and assumes a minimum of two travellers. Krabi is an Andaman destination: November to April reads best, and boat days are subject to sea conditions and the harbour authority.

The days

  1. Arrive, Ao Nang

    KBV to Ao Nang is 30 to 40 minutes. Drop the bags and keep the afternoon empty — cross to Railay West late for the sunset if the flight lands early enough.

  2. The Four Islands, by longtail

    Chicken Island, Tup, Poda and Phra Nang. On a low tide you can walk the sandbar between Tup and Chicken, which is the photograph everyone comes back with.

  3. The Hong lagoon, from Tubkaek

    Leaving from the short pier rather than Ao Nang puts you inside the lagoon before the main fleet has finished loading.

  4. A last morning, then out

    The beach until checkout, or Tiger Cave Temple at first light if you have the legs for the steps. Afternoon transfer to KBV.
