We design, contract and operate travel across Thailand — Bangkok, Pattaya, Ayutthaya, Hua Hin, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi, Ko Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Lanta and Trang — for travellers, and for the agencies and operators who sell Thailand to theirs.
We are not a travel agent. We are the team that contracts the hotels, runs the transfers and answers the phone at 2am.
The name
Siam is what Thailand used to call itself.
Until 1939 the country on your itinerary was the Kingdom of Siam. The name came back briefly after the war and was retired for good in 1949 — but it never really left. It is still the word people reach for when they mean the older, slower Thailand underneath the one most visitors fly into: the river, the markets, the temples and the court dances that were standing long before the first beach resort.
That is the half of the country we care about, so we kept its older name and put the travel next to it. Siam In Travel is not a clever spelling of Thailand. It is a statement about which Thailand we are selling, and about being in it — a licensed office outside Bangkok, contracts signed with the hotels, our own people on the road — rather than reselling it from somewhere else.
The founder
Three decades of Thailand, in one person.
Mrs Pheanrath “Pat” Sangsuriyawongse founded Siam In Travel after more than thirty years in the travel industry. That is the whole proposition: you are buying judgement that took three decades to acquire, from the person whose company will also be running your transfers.
It is why the answers here are specific rather than reassuring. Which coast works in September. Which hotel’s “sea view” is a view of the car park. Whether a boat day is worth booking in the week you have picked, or whether the sea will decide that for you. None of that is in a supplier catalogue.
It also decides what she will not sell you. Thirty years is long enough to have watched every shortcut fail at least once — the transfer that is cheap because it leaves two hours early, the resort that is quiet because nothing is open near it. We would rather lose the booking on the first call than deliver that week.
What that changes for you

Chiang Mai in March is smoke, and Doi Suthep looks down on nothing. Half of Koh Lanta shuts from May to October. The Gulf and the Andaman run opposite monsoons, so the coast you pick decides the holiday before you land.

National park fees go on the quotation as their own line rather than surfacing on the day, in cash, at a pier.
One company holds the whole trip.
Hotel, transfer, guide and day plan come from us, not from three suppliers who have never spoken to each other.
Where we actually are
Outside Bangkok, on the same river.
The office is in Bang Yai, in Nonthaburi — the province on Bangkok’s northern edge, part of the same sprawl as the city most itineraries begin in. It matters more than an address usually does. Being there is why we contract hotels directly instead of through a bed bank, why a driver can be redirected mid-morning, and why the person answering your message at 2am is in the same time zone as your problem.
Selling to Indian travellers also means being reachable on Indian terms, so the Indian side runs through an Indian company. Thumb360 Digital and Consulting Services is our sales agent in India: fares are quoted in rupees, GST and TCS are charged on the invoice, and refunds return to the card or account they came from. The trip is designed and operated in Thailand; the transaction happens in India.
